This started life as a 1930’s dressing table but the customer wanted a sleeker style. I removed and repaired where the mirror was and then restyled the drawer unit.  

Using Fusion Mineral Paint, it’s got a simple coal black finish and a little detailing on the legs in a complimenting colour. The decoupaged drawer fronts then take centre stage, with the bold and beautiful Clarke & Clarke fabric.

The striking design is a by Emma J Shipley; Amazon pink details intricate and hand drawn jungle scenes. The bright colours bring the pattern to life and definitely give a wow factor against the black frame of the unit. 

A piece of functional art, this chest of drawers has no age boundaries and would suit any room from a modern nursery to an eclectic guest bedroom.
